Fair on the Square

The Stewart County Historical Commission cordially invites you to join us for the 38th annual Fair on the Square, October 23, 2010, located on Lumpkin’s Historic Town Square.

The Fair will be held in conjunction with Westville’s Fair of 1850, which draws thousands of visitors to Lumpkin each fall. Ribbons will be awarded in both the arts and crafts divisions. Call (229) 838-4351 to request an exhibitor application.

Routes for 2010! (20, 50 miles & 100 kilometer) Enjoy these idyllic routes replete with historic country churches, bountiful farmland, and rolling hills.

These loop rides follow winding pastoral roads through Green Grove Church and Providence Canyon State Park.

For the challenging 50-mile and 100- kilometer routes, continue from the canyon to Florence Marina State Park,, to Louvale area and back to the United Methodist Church in Lumpkin.

Rest stops with refreshments and sag wagons provided.

Ride Start: Methodist Church, Broad Street, Lumpkin

Start Time: 9am Registration: 8am

Entry Fee: $20.00 prior to Oct. 1, $25.00 after Oct. 1
